WEEK 112, GARDEN WEEK I THINK....
This week is all about the garden, it is starting to come alive and the colour and flowers are just stunning with them all over the place its a colour feast at every turn, I have spent the few days just mowing and whipper snipering the weeds its a big place with a big slope so up at down the hill can take it out of you.
The weather has been the best we have seen so far in a long while but a good chance some rain will be back by mid week, but at least mowing is done.
As the week goes on the dam grass is growing again and it seems to just shot up in front of you and it will be only a week or two before I will be out on the mower at it again, I was hoping t only have two more times to go but there maybe a third time before the owner get back home, its a hard life having to sit on the mower out in the sunshine trying to miss trees and water taps that are hidden around the place in the under growth of the trees.
We have so many birds about in different colours and sizes, and these little fellas below are just fun to sit and watch as they bounce about the garden and there are so many more types and I must take time and get some shots of them.
We have also visited the Pickled Onion Place, its only a coffee shop that sells a few of their products and we also visited just down the road the Mason's Fuchsia Fantasy which has a hot house of Fuchsias which are free to look at and a coffee shop which over looks the beach
So this week is flower week and the weather has been better and the gardens are all coming alive and is a good time to show you the special places about and here below is the Tulips which are really out and about and if you wish to see more photos etc. visit here Table Cape Tulip Farm, there many more photos to see and we have been to that area before, Table Cape Lighthouse, we visited the area early in our travels here and always wished to return to see the flower across the hills and never thought that we would be able to walk the rows of colour that we saw the other day.
We so far this week has been little to no rain still a little cool but nice even got a slight heat wave of 18deg the other day, which is great and I may not return to the other Australia so Lilly white as I thought after so many months of being under rain and snow clouds
It seems our stay is now down to 5 or 6 weeks left and we have had a great stay here in Tasmania and have not seen it all in many ways you could like some spend a life time here and still not see the whole place and we have visited the places we wanted to see and other of course would see other areas and things, but have no regret in what we did not see as no one place is really any better than the next they all have something special about them and we shall never forget any places and the people who live here have been great always friendly and so helpful on many levels its been a joy to come and live here for the time we have had.
So I am considering the Blog will become a fortnight posting once we get back to Mainland, as not sure if with what's coming up I will have enough things to fill a weekly page for a while but still working on just what will happen in future with that, but the face book page will still get updated as news or special things come up.
And for all those people who plan out there day and weeks, its only about 12 Weeks till the jolly old man father Christmas is here, the weeks just fly by so quick.
