We headed down here because we thought the wind had dropped down a bit, but as you will see it had not and it was a waste to wear a hat as it could be blown off your head, anyway we are we now and the walk out along the rock wall is around a 1km. one way and you get a good view of Newcastle, if you look back once you walk out a way. Along the walk out you notice all the plaques on the rocks were people have must have dropped love ones ashes and left a marker
a you see the surf was up and yes I got wet along the way, the air was full of salt so some shots are like fog,
We watched the pilot boat come out down the river and out into the end of the river sat outside for a few minutes then came back into the harbour must be a practise run.
Here are two shots of Nobbys Lighthouse taken from half way out on the rock wall and other is close to end of wall, this gives you a view from sea looking towards the coast, unlike the other day we took shots from Newcastle
