WEEK 110, I HATE CARS....
This week was a very big week as I went to Melbourne to and I remembered why I dislike big cities the traffic and people are just always in a hurry, from the time you arrive at the airport the intensity just lifts and cars are going every where and the cars are four lanes wide and its like a rally without any ending and you cant get off either, got somewhat better the further north we got from the main part of town
The flight from Devonport across to Melbourne was really quick and as I had a window seat got to take a few photos and see the world. And the prop was spinning but the photo taken shows it stopped only because it catch's it in that second. The plane did not have many aboard so had room to spread out a bit which in a smaller plane is good. Over all it was good to catch up with friends and have time just chatting away and got what I needed to see and sort out and I will speak more about that in the future |
Here are a few shots of where is was and stayed, it a great area and so quiet, but for now I cant really say anymore and will when I can, the country side we went by was so green and the fields of yellow where outstanding to see. So not else happened this week but that happens from time to time and this is one of these weeks. But it was good to catch up with friends and have dinner together and have a laugh. |
One thing is for sure a got to see a nice blue sky and see the sunset and all the while being able t wear shorts and t-shirt as it was so warm outside.
I really did not sleep well the first night out as I woke up in a sweat and suddenly thought did I lock m car from I left the airport in Devonport and would it be there when I got back and after that just could not sleep well |
The traffic was so bad on our way back to the house that a trip of about and hour took just over 2 1/2 hours with a freeway with four lanes wide and as you crawl along you see car parked on the side with accidents every where and I even saw fuel under $1.50 cents now in Tasmania it stays about $1.60 all the time.
So after having some great warm days the time to return to Devonport I look out the window at Melbourne airport and see this awaiting me for my return flight back and wonder maybe it is me. And this was taken just after 1pm and its looking more like last afternoon.
