So the day has arrived we were heading down the road to the Tasmania towards the ferry, its 10.30am and we have to get a spot to park the van and car as we are near 14mt long and after a test run the week before we knew we had one low bridge in our path we had to miss, traffic was light and we were able get in the right lane and bypass the low bridge and head down the road which runs one street back from beach Road and we head down about 3 km. and turn right to get back to beach road and turn right again and the cars are everywhere and we head up towards the ferry and find enough room to get van into a spot, the parking here is metered and we paid $12.90 for day park
well now we thought, by the time we have a walk about some lunch and a little rest it would time to board, but no just about 30 min later a text from the Tasmania People informing us our trip was delayed and the ship would not be boarding till at least 8pm
So around about 2pm or so the family who have been following us arrived and they spotted our Blue ribbins and we had a chat and caught up with their adventures, and they also have a face Book page "Family Pass Adventures ", great kids lots of fun and very excited that they were heading over to.

Houses around the parking area
AS OF TODAY WE HAVE GOT TWO HOUSE SITS FOR 2 AND 3 MONTHS AT EACH END OF THE ISLAND SO IT IS SHAPING UP VERY GOOD FOR NOW.
Photos of on Board Ship
You are looking and seeing nobody, well I got up early and took them, was like a drunken camera man as the ship was rocking and it was not easy walking about bouncing off the walls as I went along
Have been asked how to get shots like these, was told by a Pro to take at least 3 to 4 shots at different settings and at least one black and white shot.
I take mainly in Raw and some Jpeg, shots but have camera set up for 3 different user sets to make it easy.

As we got close to coast, I got up early and walked though the ship taking photos but did not anyone about there where a few crew members, but no one else and when I went outside onto the decks I was able to get some reallt great shots of the sky as the sun came up.
And a little while later it was gone and the sun disappeared behind the clouds so others who came out, did nor see the skies I saw, so getting early really paid off.
