Rockhampton War museum 

​The museum is easy to find and is in near the centre of town, it is filled with lots of items from the wars and local content from family's who lost people during that time.
The building it self is very run down and is due for some mayor repairs and would be a treat if that were possible.
​Parking is easy out front or you can go to the street behind and into their large parking area just past the train museum and to the left into their area

The people who run the place are very friendly and helpful at all times and the displays are well set out in their areas, there are lots of things that I have not seen in other museum like this one

I had never seen these flags displayed in any other place we had visited and that is true of a lot of the displays including the Women's Land Army, you know it was about but little history about those hard working Women

Image living in this time with all the things going on around you not knowing about what is really happening with friends and family overseas, People were so much more back then, not like today.

​ Most bitch about the internet when they watch their show on the phone..no sense of what life is or about  

I have not shown all photos etc. that is for you to visit and see and please don't think I do post this because I am   trying to make glory out of wars past, No its to show how we lived and carried ourselves during this time.
​Now a days some have trouble living without a phone and internet let alone face what our past Australians had to go though, Just remember what they did for us....  I am more interested in the history and some of these things I have never seen or understood their uses till you see them.
